The rules that help keep LittleBlueCup useful, safe and fair for everyone.
These Terms apply when people:
LittleBlueCup is described publicly as Millie's project. Millie founded it, sets its rules, makes final decisions and takes responsibility for how it is run.
LittleBlueCup is not described as a registered charity. LittleBlueCup's public pages do not currently set out a separate company, charity, formal legal entity or postal contact address.
Start here. The formal sections below explain the same principles in more detail.
Do not create false Search requests, fake offers, misleading accounts or deliberately inaccurate information.
Do not share somebody else's personal information, messages, images or story without appropriate permission.
Do not bully, harass, shame, threaten or attack other people.
Do not use a Search to criticise somebody's parenting, disability, communication, behaviour, care, support needs or personal circumstances.
LittleBlueCup may review, edit, hide, restrict, reject or remove content where necessary to operate and protect the service.
LittleBlueCup helps people search for genuinely difficult-to-replace items through community searching, storytelling and careful moderation.
People may:
LittleBlueCup public accounts are used by people submitting Search requests and by people offering help with approved Searches.
LittleBlueCup has not yet published a separate minimum-age or eligibility rule. Until that rule is confirmed, people should only use the service where they can do so responsibly and provide information they are entitled to provide.
When people create or use an account, they are responsible for using it honestly and keeping it safe.
Account holders may choose the LittleBlueCup newsletter, Still Fighting, both or neither. These choices are optional, unchecked when first offered and separate from the rules and privacy agreement required for account creation.
A newsletter choice does not buy or change Search approval, priority, publication, promotion, moderation or support. Permission for staff to consider featuring a particular Search is a different per-Search choice and does not subscribe the Searcher.
A Search request is information sent for review. A Search is an approved request that LittleBlueCup can work on, whether or not it is public.
Search requests should:
Submitting a Search request does not guarantee that LittleBlueCup will accept it, publish it, promote it, keep it public, or continue it indefinitely.
LittleBlueCup reviews requests carefully because public searching can affect privacy, safety, dignity and the wider community.
Self Search normally comes first. Some approved Searches may later become Continuing Searches or Featured Searches, but not every Search will receive the same route, visibility, placement, update schedule or promotion.
Messages help people organise Search offers and keep conversations easier to review if something feels wrong.
Messages may be reviewed where necessary for:
People must not use messages to:
People may upload or submit:
Users must only upload content that:
LittleBlueCup often involves items connected to children, families, disabled people, care, loss, routine, memory and comfort. That makes privacy especially important.
People should not upload or submit somebody else's image, voice, documents, messages, story or personal information unless they have an appropriate reason and permission to share it with LittleBlueCup for the relevant purpose.
Approved Searches are not debate threads, parenting forums or places to comment on whether someone should want an item.
Do not use a Search to criticise:
LittleBlueCup does not allow:
LittleBlueCup cannot guarantee every person, offer, item, payment, delivery, collection or off-platform conversation. People should remain sensible and cautious.
Some people may discuss postage, collection or payment when arranging help with a Search. Those arrangements are between the people involved.
Users keep ownership of the content they own.
That does not mean a user owns somebody else's photo, message, image, document, voice recording or story just because they upload it.
LittleBlueCup needs permission to:
LittleBlueCup's name, branding, design and original platform content are part of the project and should not be reused in misleading ways.
People must not:
LittleBlueCup may moderate content, Search requests, Searches, messages, accounts and reports where needed to operate the service and protect people.
Moderation may happen because of:
If someone believes LittleBlueCup has misunderstood something, they can contact LittleBlueCup and explain what they think should be reviewed.
LittleBlueCup will consider concerns where it can, but this page does not promise a formal appeal process, response time or outcome.
People can support LittleBlueCup through the public support routes, including Patreon. Support helps keep the work possible.
LittleBlueCup uses and links to other services. Those services may have their own rules, privacy notices, settings, charges or availability.
LittleBlueCup is a developing service. It may change as the project learns what is safe, useful and sustainable.
This is the honest bit. LittleBlueCup aims to help, not make promises it cannot keep.

These Terms avoid adding legal or product rules that LittleBlueCup has not confirmed.

Where a change is important, LittleBlueCup may update public copy, account screens or related guidance so people can understand the current position.
These pages give more detail about privacy, permissions, safety, moderation and support.
If something is unclear, please get in touch and we'll do our best to explain.
LittleBlueCup exists because small things can matter enormously. These Terms are here to help protect the people searching, the people helping, and the community that brings them together.
